Ken Pharmacy

Ken started his pharmacy career in 1990 working with Sav On Drug. Through out his 15 years working for Sav On he managed a few of the 24 hours stores in Orange County. He also mentored many pharmacy students and pharmacists to improve their knowledge and skill. When Sav On drug merged with CVS, he became the pharmacy manager at the Riverside 24 hours store. Ken’s passion for interaction with his patients discussing about medications and counselling patients about their medical conditions decided him to resign from his position after one year at CVS and moved to Rite Aid Corp. He became a pharmacy manager at the Rite Aid store in Rancho Cucamonga. During his 10 years position at Rite Aid pharmacy, he understood more of what nowadays pharmacists are lacking of how to better serve their patients. Following the news of the merge between Rite Aid and Walgreen, Ken feels that he can serve the community better and he decided to open Ken Pharmacy.

After months of preparation, Ken Pharmacy finally opened on August 8th, 2016. As a pharmacist for more than 25 years experiences, Ken knows that pharmacist is much more accessible to patient than doctor. It is for this reason that Ken makes himself available for counselling for medical conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma, high blood pressure and others. Ken also spend time to counsel his patients on their medications, side effects and drug interactions.

Ken understands also that certain patient group such our neighborhood senior citizens have other circumstances to meet their needs. To fulfill these needs, Ken also provide bubble pack and delivery services for free.

Lastly, Ken’s passion to treat his patients as his friends helps to remove the barrier between patient and pharmacist to discuss their conditions more comfortably. At Ken Pharmacy you can count on pharmacist who cares.
